Protea Hotel Mulungushi Towers is the flagship Hotel for the
Protea Group in Zambia.

PROTEA HOTEL BONANZA

Construction of a 250 room resort hotel with 2,500 person convention centre, spa, gym, etc.
18 hole golf course and club house on the Bonanza housing estate development.
This will be the worlds largest Protea Hotel once completed and we are very proud to be a part of it!

BONANZA GOLF COURSE

Construction of a 18 hole golf course and club-house
on the Bonanza Housing Estate Development. Velos carried out the design and
build of the club house and build the golf course itself with the guidance
of Peter Matkovic Group from South Africa.
All other infrastructure works around the estate also carried out by
Velos project cost US$ 20,000,000.00 project.

ARCADES

Acades is A US $8.5M development of modern shops, cinemas and
entertainment facilities in Lusaka. In total Arcardes is 18,500 square meters
of space with A 760 vehicle car park. Velos is not only the major constructor on
site but has taken equity in the project in order for the project to meet
its financial undertakings. The centre was officially opened on
11th December 2003 by public president Levy Mwanawasa and rivals the only
other major shopping centre in Zambia, Manda Hill, in both size and quality.
In Addition to Velos on the project, there is another contractor, who
are also equity investors in the project, Mitre Construction.
